Odisha State Karate-do Association organised the 31st State Cadet, Junior & U-21 Karate Championships here at Utkal Karate School on March 23 and 24, 2019. Around 175 karatekas from 22 districts participated in the event. Ruchi Foodline Director Rashmi Sahoo handed over the prizes at the closing ceremony.
The state championship served as the basis of selection of Odisha squad for the National Cadet, Junior & U-21 Karate Championships, scheduled to be held at Guwahati in Assam from April 5 to 7, 2019.
